You are still tied to colour and to race,
So you call me Afghan or Turkoman.
But I am first of all a man, plain man,
And then an Indian or Turanian.

~ Allama Iqbal
hmm...true...
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting here. This is a new venture...creating a blog about Iqbal.
I am no Iqbal expert, and I am simply seeking to highlight his teachings, and connect them (without attenuating their integrity in any way) in different ways with other areas of life.
All good wishes,

Extremely cool , befitting and perfect photograph.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
DeleteI do very much like this art...both the picture and Iqbal's words.
All good wishes,

The words of Iqbal are so true.Human beings should never be judged by their colour or race.It was not the intention of God that his supreme creation will be distinguished and treated differently by their fellow human beings. There is a reason why we have specific colour and by now man has gained the knowledge I hope if not it is a shame.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Dear Chaman,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for coming here and sharing this. I love it.
All good wishes,
